Vinh Hung Construction Company wins the award "ASEAN Enterprises 2020"

The ceremony is part of a series of events organized by the Vietnam ASEAN Central Association for Economic Development in collaboration with Ministries, Departments, Branches of the State and leading economic experts. This program honors prestigious leaders and businesses in the Vietnamese market and ASEAN countries who have the capability to compete for sustainable integration, contribute to the economic development of the country and promote international relations.

As one of the leading enterprises in the traffic sector, Vinh Hung specializes in manufacture, supply and construction for key projects in Vietnam such as Nhon Urban Railway - Hanoi Railway Station, Ben Luc - Long Thanh Highway, Phap Van - Cau Gie Highway, Dragon Bridge, etc. This is also the enterprise who owns the first factory in Vietnam that produces integral expansion joints, bridge bearings, noise barriers and handrails. Vinh Hung knows the Asian market in general and ASEAN in particular from the inside out, since it has been operating in the field of trade and import for more than a decade before expanding to export-oriented manufacturing.

In 2018, Vinh Hung provided bridge handrails for the longest sea crossing bridge project in Southeast Asia - $ 1.6 billion Temburong Bridge (Brunei). In 2019-2020, products of Vinh Hung Factory have been promoted to export to many countries such as Indonesia, the Philippines, etc. Vinh Hung is also the first enterprise in Vietnam to export mechanical products of the traffic industry (bridge bearings, expansion joints, noise barriers, handrails) to the world market.

Mr. Vo Ta Luong, General Director of Vinh Hung said at the event, “Based on ASEAN market analyses, we can say that up to now, there are not many manufacturers capable of producing traffic mechanical products in the region. Large projects still have to import mechanical components from Europe, China, and Korea. In addition, mechanical manufacturers in general still make limited effort in the promotion of technical development and branding. Intra-ASEAN proactive production helps reduce costs, actively supply, shorten project implementation time as well as master the construction process. Intra-regional exchanges with businesses of neighbor countries through forums such as this shall create opportunities to connect and make use of the advantages gained from ASEAN economic development policy support such as transportation costs and taxes, as well as be open for other cooperation opportunities.”
