Vietnam Motor Show 2016: Accelerate to celebrate with modern automotive technologies

Mr. Yoshihisa Maruta, VAMA President, said in Press Conference on September 13th : “This year, the Vietnam Motor Show comes back Hanoi to meet up the Northern customers’ expectation, after 3 consecutive events held in HCM city. With the theme “Accelerate to Celebrate”, we want to express the speeding spirit of VAMA members to shorten the distance between users and opportunity of owning a car. We do believe that the show will be a good place for customers to discover the latest models with the outstanding technologies and to help them to make a good decision on choosing the most suitable vehicle for their life.”

Upon attending Vietnam Motor Show 2016, visitors will easily experience the most favorable automobile models in the market with upgraded and innovated versions as well as special promotion.

Small & middle passenger cars, SUV and MPV, which are affordable to most of consumers, will take the majority of this motor show. Chevrolet expresses the “Revolution” spirit through dynamic booth design and innovative products. A range of American style Chevrolet cars such as Chevrolet Camaro SS 6.2L sport car and SUV Chevrolet Trax Turbo 1.4L – the car is leading to extend SUV model will definitely amazes customers, especially when it is the first time they appear in Vietnam.

There will be a list of small, sport and commercial cars introduced by Ford. The brand’s highlight is Ford Explorer 2017 – a luxurious SUV equipped with Ecoboost 2.3L as well as smart and modern safety technologies. This is the SUV model imported from US that will be available in Vietnam market by the end of 2016.

In Honda’s booth, visitors will find familiar cars like Civic, City Modulo, CR-V in specialized version and luxury imported Accord 2016 and Odysey. A new model that brings the message “Innovative to drive the trend” will be also launched at the Show. Isuzu, coming back to Vietnam Motor Show 2016 after many years of absence, will introduce the latest SUV model – Isuzu mu-X - with interesting highlights.

Customers who prefer KIA and Mazda will be satisfied with the lively show of KIA Optima and Mazda CX-5. In the Show, Lexus is the key brand which draws strong attention of customers in the North. In Vietnam Motor Show, Lexus will introduce its most satisfying models RX200t and NX200t and new model GS200t. There is a secret model that promises to be attractive in design and excellent in operation. In addition to Outlander designed in Dynamic Shield language recently introduced to Vietnam, Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam will show their new SUV Pajero Sport, which is planned to appear in Vietnam market soon. Toyota’s strategic products in Vietnam Motor Show 2016 are Innova Hilux and Corrolla Altis. The new model Vios with innovation in engines and gearbox is presented as well.

Understanding the trend of particular interest for pickup trucks in the last 2 years, the Show will perform the most notable pick-up models such as Chevrolet Colorado 2017 the first time release in Vietnam, Chevrolet Silverado 5.3L V8, Ford Ranger, Isuzu Dmax, Mazda BT 50, Mitsubishi Triton and Toyota Hilux. Brands also offer customers with special promotions for that.

In the commercial and specialized vehicles segment, FUSO brand, which for the first time approaches customers in the capital, promises to carry out exciting performances and highly interactive activities. Moreover, FUSO introduce a wide range of product categories of light truck Canter, medium truck Fighter, heavy truck Tractor and bus ROSA along with attractive promotion programs. Do Thanh Auto, the manufacturer and distrubitor of Huyndai commercial cars shall bring to the exhibition their key line, which are the HD 120s, Dothanh IZ 49, Dothanh E County XL. In particular, tipping truck HD270 engine 320ps, truck HD210 and tractor truck HD700 are models distributed by Huyndai distributor Nam Việt. Invited brand – Kazma introduces new and famous models of strong and utilized trucks, tipping trucks, tractor trucks, petroleum and asphalt tank trucks.

Safety, energy-saving, collision-preventing technology, auto-driving support and especially entertainment utilities integrated with the aim of optimizing convenience and comfort are remarkable technologies to be introduced to the public.

In the press conference, brands’ representatives will spend time for exclusive interviewing with media agencies to provide detailed information about models and car technologies. They also share the brand’s business development strategies and policies to support consumers.

Highly interactive activities for visitors

In 12^th Vietnam Motor Show, along with nearly 100 car models, there are 80 booths with thousands of auto parts, accessories, insurance and banking products. Upon coming to the show, visitors can have a chance to enjoy interesting, lively and modern performances. They can also take part in series of interactive activities in which celebrities or influencers in Vietnam automobile industry are involved.

The noteworthy activities are:

- 2 weeks before the show (Sep 20 - 30^th), “Win Golden Ticket – Attend Vietnam Motor Show” contest on Vietnam Motor Show website and Facebook Fanpage. 10 winners will receive tickets which cover entire cost of travelling to the event.

- 3^rd October, Special roadshow of wide range of cars program around main streets in Hanoi.

- 5^th October, Official launch of Vietnam Motor Show 2016 with the participation of 100 media agency.

- 6^th October, A Seminar on Automobile technology will be held at Conference Room, 2^nd floor, ICE.

- During the event: “Showfie” Contest will reward visitors with valuable gifts everyday if they take photos at the show, share them on Facebook/Instagram and get the highest interaction.
