VAECO: Flight safety takes top priority

VAECO was awarded approval certificates by more than 20 aviation authorities worldwide, the Federal Aviation Regulation Part 145, or FAR-145 repairman certificate by the FAA, and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 145, or EASA-145 approval certificate by the EASA. This proves the company’s prestige and competitiveness in the regional aircraft maintenance and repair market.

VAECO was founded according to Prime ministerial Decision 1276/QD-TTg dated September 26, 2006 through the merger and restructuring of A75 and A76 aircraft repair enterprises, and the technical department of the Central Region Office and advisory board for aircraft maintenance of the Vietnam Airlines Corporation. VAECO officially came into operation on January 1, 2009 according to maintenance organization standards of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAA) and became a financially independent firm that runs in compliance with the Vietnam Law on Enterprises.

Over the past eight years, with its “development and integration” motto, VAECO has constantly invested and developed to meet the highest aircraft maintenance standards. Apart from the aircraft maintainer certification granted by the CAA, VAECO was awarded the FAR-145 repairman certificate by the FAA in 2011, the EASA-145 approval certificate by the EASA in March 2017, and approval certificates by more than 20 aviation authorities from the Republic of Korea (RoK), Singapore, Qatar, China, and Japan. With such certificates, VAECO is capable of maintaining and repairing all types of aircrafts, including such advanced models as Airbus A350 and Boeing B787 of Vietnam Airlines and more than 60 foreign airlines flying to Vietnam. VAECO always offers the best services with the best prices. Many airlines sent VAECO letters of compliment. The All Nippon Airways wrote that it was impressed by the wonderful service that VAECO offered to its aircraft JA 887 from August 5-7, 2017 at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi.

In the first half of 2017, VAECO served and ensured safety of more than 55,000 flights of Vietnam Airlines, including many special flights serving party and state leaders, in addition to more than 22,000 flights to Vietnam of foreign airlines. EASA-145 approval certificate awarded by the EASA to VAECO in March 2017 is one of the company’s biggest successes in the first half of this year. This achievement is attributed to the company’s non-stop efforts in the development of skilled engineers, modern infrastructure, quality management, and support from the Vietnam Airlines Corporation and other relevant authorities and organizations.
