(VEN) - UMW Equipment Systems Vietnam Co., Ltd. (UMW Vietnam) has entered Vietnam for nearly 20 years with a clear long-term plan, which is to provide high quality industrial equipment and the best after-sales service according to international standards for the market.

UMW Vietnam, with a total investment of US$8.15 million, has emerged as the exclusive distributor of leading brands such as Toyota (Japan), BT (Sweden) and CTM (Italy).

The products are Toyota-Forklift trucks (diesel, gasoline, LPG and battery powered), Reach Truck, Towing Tractor, BT-Forklift trucks used in factories and cold storage facilities, Power Pallets, Hand Pallets and CTM – ride on and off floor scrubbers and cleaning equipment.

Our main activities include the sales and distribution of industrial equipment, long term rentals, the repair and maintenance of our equipment brands, long term service contracts, the overhaul and sales of parts and related services.

The company has invested in the development of staff skills via training from principals and the acquiring of certifications like Toyota STEP, we now have a large pool of principal trained and certified personnel who are ever ready for any challenges in servicing our customer requirements.

We also have ready stock in hand of critical spare parts apart from the regular maintenance stocks. This enables us to quickly resolve any customer equipment issues and expediently bring back the machine into service.

To promote awareness of safety and efficiency while operating forklift trucks, we also provide training services in handling and maintaining vehicles for drivers. This has helped improve our customer’s performance.

Many of our customers are the leading brands in Vietnam like Vinamilk, Vietnam Airlines, Acecook, Vietnam Brewery Limited Company and Coca-Cola.

We now have over 150 employees, including engineers trained to Toyota standards, serving throughout Vietnam like Binh Duong, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Da Nang and Can Tho. Our newest branch in Quang Ngai will be operational soon by the first quarter of 2017. Our headquarters are in Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park, Binh Duong Province.

We aim to build the strongest after-sales service for maintenance and repair in the country with more future locations and well trained staff.
