Twenty-six countries and territories register for ITE 2017

As of August 15th, 26 countries and territories have registered for participation in the International Travel Expo (ITE) 2017, including Australia, China, Germany, India, Philippines, Brazil and Indonesia, said Deputy Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Tran Vinh Tuyen.

So far, the event has received registrations for more than 260 display booths, fulfilling 87% of the plan.

In addition, about 50 reporters and 35 newspapers and televisions from countries and territories like Thailand, Taiwan (China), Hong Kong (China), Germany, India, New Zealand and the Netherlands are expected to run articles.

On the sidelines, there will be other activities, including: a seminar to develop MICE tourism, a seminar to introduce major tourist markets of Vietnam and a tourism seminar between Vietnam and Italy.

The event will offer promotional programs and tour discounts for travelers, and host meetings between Buyers and Sellers.

ITE 2017, co-organized by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), Ho Chi Minh city Department of Tourism, VINEXAD - Vietnam Trade Fair & Advertising Joint Stock; and Informa Exhibitions Pte Ltd, will take place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center on September 7th-9th.
