The presence of prestige brands at Vietnam Motor Show 2015

The show this year witness nearly 150 car models from 18 prestige brands valued over VND250 billion. Therefore, the exhibition this year has established a record of the number of models to exhibit, which also reflect efforts by VAMA in meeting the perse needs of consumers.

Putting the spotlight on models that represent the American brand, Chevrolet catches up the market trend to showcase its global products for the first time in Vietnam with the most upgraded version of Chevrolet Colorado High Country pick-up truck; all-new global small SUV Chevrolet Trax together with the star of pavilion, the world-famous Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe 2015 3LT sports car.

Ford brings to the show the world wide-scale products that are the leader in fuel saving and smart technology, such as: Ford Fiesta, Ford Ecosport and Ford Ranger the newest version. New generation of Ford Focus is presented with international awarded EcoBoost engine when the brand new Ford Everest is setting up a higher standard for SUV in Vietnam.

With the theme " Maximize your life with Honda", Honda Vietnam gives visitors chance of exploring the all-new Honda Odyssey in premium MPV segment, which is first time officially introduced in Vietnam market, as well as latest versions of other models which are well-known for style, performance and reliability, together with a wide range of advanced and environmentally friendly technology such as EARTH DREAMS TECHNOLOGY, ECO Assist.

The VMS 2015 will witness the presence of 12 fascinating cars from the “three-pointed Star” brand, Mercedes-Benz, of which 10 are new to the market. The brand will introduce for the first time ever in Vietnam the 9G-TRONIC transmission with higher efficiency &smoothness, and the anticipatory driving assistance system COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST PLUS (CPA Plus).

With a message “A New Future with Mitsubishi Motors”, Mitsubishi Motors displays products line-up inspired by Ralliart spirit – “The Spirit of Competition”. Besides, all displayed products are to affirm Mitsubishi Motors as an eco-friendly manufacture by outstanding performance in term of fuel-efficiency during 2015 Mitsubishi True Efficiency Caravan. Additionally, Mitsubishi would like to propose an alternate choice of SUV, offering both the mobility of a SUV and the comfort of a MPV: this is AR concept.

Nissan showcases "Technology for your convenience" as the theme with four models including the all new Murano, Nissan’s flagship premium mid-size Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) that is specially brought in from North America, plus three models, the Teana, Juke and NP300 Navara – all specially equipped with advanced touchscreen AVN navigation system with internet connectivity. At VMS 2015, Nissan will also take this opportunity to launch the co-brand sponsorship campaign, Nissan-UEFA Champions League, with many interactive activities at the booth for visitors. Key technologies such as PureDrive^TM X-tronic CVT technology and Safety Shield philosophy will also be highlighted to visitors at Nissan booth.

Vietnam Suzuki has officially launched the All-new model car in compact SUV segment – Vitara 2015. DNA inherited from the previous generations, this new version owns sporty smart design, fuel economy, extreme security and efficient processing capabilities in urban roads. Vitara with the choice of 14 colors is promising to be an appropriate model for the personalized men in this year. Besides Vitara, Swift special edition has new versions with 2-tone colors creating personalized style and youthful. Ertiga special edition is outstanding with spacious interior space and flexible usages are one of a rare plus point for the 5+2 sedan.

After many years of absence, this year, THACO officially backs to the event with the presence of 3 brands Kia, Mazda and Peugeot that are manufactured, assembled and distributed in Vietnam market by THACO. Kia proudly brings 5 new car models focusing on the MPV segment, such asKia Sedona with sporty design, SUV utility vehicle and luxury furniture. Mazda launches the new-generation car with Kodo style and SkyActiv technologies, highlighting the power of technology such as Mazda2, Mazda3, Mazda6, CX-5 and Mazda pick-up model BT-50.Last but not least, Peugeot brand will showcase 5 models: 208 facelift, 308, 508, 2008 and 3008, . The most notable model is 3008 with a stylish, sporty design and comfortable furniture.

Equally important, Toyota Vietnam will launch products representing the Breakthrough Generation, witnessing the strong steps forwards. Additionally, at its booth, Toyota will create entertainment corners helping customers to become familiar with the safety technology as well as the environmental-friendly technology equipped on Toyota vehicles.

FUSO brand name launches two new products: heavy truck series FUSO Fighter FJ 24R, and FUSO Tractor FZ 49tons at VMS 205. Those new product safe firstly applied “Anti-roll bar” technology in truck segment which guarantees to provide consumers with high-safety experience. In additional, FUSO also offers free 100,000km maintenance coupon for Fighter models, and special promotion for customer buying FUSO trucks.

With the message “The power of passion to conquer all the challenges”, Hino Motors Vietnam brings along Hino 300 series – equipped with Euro 3 engine common rail fuel injection system, enhance the better fuel consumption, environmental friendly, more comfortable and attractive interior design. Hino 500 series with the powerful aerodynamic design, durable efficient engine that can contribute low fuel consumption, outstanding payload capacity. And finally, Hino 700 series with Euro 3 engine, functional spacious and modern cabin design that can bring the most comfort to driver on the long journeys.

Hyundai brings 3 truck models Hyundai Xcient, HD210 and New Mighty. Hyundai Xcient is the first truck series in the world that establishes a new standard of function productivity and consuming efficiency, increase life-span, saving 7% fuel consumption. HD210 can be called a local favorite due to its max payload ability, the 3-axis system helps adjust capacity flexibly, saves fuel consumption. New Mighty brings to customers our latest emission standard technology produced by Hyundai.

Being manufactured with European standards and imported CBU from this market, Kamaz has many advantages such as strong and durable engines, new vehicles with low fuel consumption technology, and perse vehicles from dump trucks to vans, loading cranes, tractors, chassis, fuel tank cars, asphalt, water and fire trucks, and especially the price is right physical. Meanwhile, MAN brings very perse products: Tipper Trucks; super weight Tractor; Fire trucks; Military transport vehicles; Intercity passenger car etc. MAN committed to providing our customers with the products and services most senior accordance with the standards of the manufacturer MAN Truck & Bus AG (Germany).

Besides, the outdoor exhibition area of 2,000m2 will present dedicated car manufacturers like MAN and KAMAZ along with the 2.000 m² area for all supporting firms that will offer a more integral experience for visitors.

Maximizing benefits for visitors through perse activities and promotion

Within the agenda of the show, the organizers have attempted to organize practical and interesting activities focusing on many different audiences. To clearly indicate two-way communication to have better serving Vietnamese consumers, the seminar on the theme of "Smart owning and using cars for Vietnam consumers" will be held as an open forum, where consumers, representatives of automobile manufacturers and businesses to support the exchange, offer solutions to promote automobile consumption efficiently and benefit customer at best. Coming along to the show, visitors also have a chance to test drive on the three luxury brand cars such as Chevrolet, Mercedes – Benz, and Nissan. In addition, online photo contest "Take a selfie with Vietnam Motor Show 2015" will be launched on VMS’s fanpage.
