(VEN) - The Tan Son Nhat Cargo Services and Forwarding Co., Ltd (TECS) was established in the context of Vietnam becoming a member of the World Trade Organization. The company therefore is aware that standardization is necessary for it to become a leading professional air cargo service chain provider in Vietnam.

Activities catering for express air freight forwarding

TECS is known as the first air cargo service company in Vietnam to meet all requirements for express services at the Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Its services include warehousing, express international air freight forwarding, office and warehouse leasing, and aviation equipment maintenance.

According to a representative of TECS, the company has invested in modernizing its equipment to meet the standards set for the aviation sector. The leadership of the company gives top priority to training and developing human resources. All staff members of TECS have been provided with technical and soft skills training to meet specific job requirements.

Currently, TECS provides air cargo handling services for express carriers operating at the customs clearance center for express cargo; provides domestics and international forwarding services, receives and transports cargo within Vietnam and overseas airports. Additionally, TECS provides other services including office and warehouse leasing, and maintenance of aviation equipment at the Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

TECS has standardized its organizational structure and management system applying ISO 9001:2015 quality management system; and the security management system complying with the European Union’s regulations (ACC3/RA3).

Thanks to nonstop efforts by its entire staff, TECS has achieved increasing business results by years. The amount of cargo handled at TECS increased from 21.383 tonnes in 2014 to 26.523 in 2015 and 26.850 in 2016. Especially in 2015, the company’s revenue increased 14 percent, and its pretax profit exceeded the annual plan by 74 percent.

Following the motto “All for customers”, TECS always strives to provide customers with the best services.

TECS currently provides express air freight forwarding services at the Tan Son Nhat International Airport for a number of domestic and foreign companies, including DHL-VNPT, FedEx Express, UPS Vietnam Joint Stock Company, SG Sagawa Vietnam Co., Ltd, Hop Nhat International Express Joint Stock Company (HNC), Saigon Express Forwarding Co., Ltd (SCE), Than Toc Forwarding Co., Ltd, and Vietlink Global Co., Ltd (VIETLINK).
