Socioeconomic development targets in 2023

It is based on the Vietnamese practice of ancestor worship and dates back to the period of the 18 Hung kings who ruled northern Vietnam from 2879-258 BCE. However, some music researchers believe that Xoan singing emerged much later, during the Later Le Dynasty (1428-1789 AD), as the lyrics bear literary forms and styles of the period.
