(VEN) - The Namson Technology – Engineering Company Limited (Namson Laser), previously Namson Engraving & Decoration Co., Ltd, was founded in 2002. Facing and overcoming numerous challenges, it has become one of Vietnam’s leading experts in laser technology. Dang Ngoc Quy, the company’s Managing Director, tells us about the journey.

Could you share with us the significant achievements that Namson Laser has made in the 17 years since its establishment?

We are very proud to have overcome the challenges and gradually affirmed our company's brand over the past 17 years. We have made remarkable progress in successfully penetrating domestic and foreign markets. Our achievements include: becoming the exclusive distributor for Gantry Laser of Epilog Laser (USA) and for Gantry Laser of GCC LaserPro (Taiwan); becoming exclusive distributor for Laser Source of SPI Laser (UK) in Vietnam and Thailand; Achieving ISO 9001:2008 Certificate for all Being-on-offer Products and Services; becoming a partner and Vietnam-based distributor of Coherent Laser, the world’s leading brand on laser source in USA; getting the Certificate for Industrial Design Protection granted by National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam.

Most importantly, we launched the first Made-in-Vietnam industrial laser marking & cutting machine named Namson PowerMARK. This PowerMARK series is not only distributed in the domestic market but also exported to Japan and Europe. For us, it is a matter of great pride.

What were some of the factors in your success?

We have positioned ourselves as a supplier of high quality laser machines at reasonable prices, consistent with the diverse needs of customers. In addition, we have the right solutions to invest in research and development (R&D), as well as train high-quality engineers, helping our engineering teams catch up with the world's latest technologies of development in the Industrial 4.0 era.

In addition, Namson Laser has a sales, warranty and after-sales policy that consistently meets and satisfies customers' needs. With a 500m² factory located in Ho Chi Minh City’s Thu Duc District, Namson is expanding its production scale to meet the company's increasing market share. We hope that with dedication, ambition and passion, Namson will increasingly develop and bring more advanced laser technology into the Vietnam market and progress further in the international market.

Tell us something about Namson Laser’s participation in the recent "METAXEX Vietnam 2019" exhibition.

Namson Laser was honored to participate in an international exhibition specializing in machine tools, precision mechanics and metalworking - METALEX Vietnam 2019, which took place from October 10-12 in Ho Chi Minh city.

METALEX Vietnam is the leading specialized international exhibition in Vietnam. Namson Laser has participated in METALEX Vietnam for many years and seen its effectiveness. At this year's exhibition, we introduced to visitors automation solutions applied in industries such as cutting machines, engraving machines, welding machines and laser cleaning machines.

Our expectation is that through each exhibition, visitors will increasingly recognize our brand. In addition, at METALEX Vietnam, Namson can strengthen its relationship with old clients and find new customers, as well as establish and expand partnerships, both at home and abroad.
