With the result of 9th campaign, RFTH has raised the total fund of more than VND40 billion. The cumulative number of Vietnamese children saved by the program has now exceeded 1,500 children.

On the morning of February 12 in Celadon City, Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), after more than 2 months of fundraising and awareness-raising efforts, RFTH 2023 had ended with a companion run day and closing ceremony to announce the total funds raised.
Representing the Organizing Committee to give speech at the ceremony, Mr. Angus Liew - Chairman of Gamuda Land Vietnam shares: “The slogan "Heart to heart – Raise the lives" truly represents the spirit of this program and the generosity of the community. I’m deeply touched and appreciate the enthusiastic supports from community giving to Run For The Heart. This is what has made this program a success year after year. Gamuda Land will not stop putting efforts to maintain this loving journey for years ahead, to join hands with the community to bring brighter future for thousands of disadvantaged children in Vietnam.”
Besides the remarkable fundraising result, the program also attracted the participation of more than 10,000 people, including students, employees of many businesses, and lots of families. In addition, the program continues to receive support from a host of famous artists and influencers including supermodel - businesswoman Vu Thu Phuong, singer Lam Truong, singer and composer Hoang Bach, singer Phuong Vy, singer Y Kroc, miss beauty Le Hoang Phuong, model - businesswoman Vo Bach My Linh, etc. These ambassadors were all excited to mingle with thousands of runners to “connect the heartbeat” at Celadon City.
According to statistics from the Ministry of Health, 10,000 – 15,000 children are born every year in Vietnam with congenital heart defects (CHD), of which half will require intervention or surgery in the first months of life. Without prompt surgery or intervention, thousands of children born every year will suffer and perish in their teenage years. Understanding deeply and empathizing with affected families, Gamuda Land has always made efforts to encourage the community to join hands to bring life-saving assistance to children and support to thousands of families all across the country.
