Justice Department implements varied tasks

(VEN) - The Hung Yen Province Department of Justice is a specialized agency under the jurisdiction of the provincial People’s Committee that advises the committee on state management on a wide range of areas, including building the legal system and law enforcement, mediation at grassroots levels, and regimes secured by laws.

The department provides a variety of services, such as certifications of adoption, nationality and judicial records; state compensation; legal aid; notarization; property auctions; commercial arbitration and mediation; asset management and liquidation; enforcement of penalties on administrative violations and other public services as prescribed by law.

In 2021, the Hung Yen judiciary supplemented ideas for 137 draft legal documents of central and local authorities, appraised on schedule 104 draft legal documents, and helped the People's Council and People's Committee to issue 85 legal documents.

The Department of Justice has examined 70 legal documents issued by the Provincial People's Committee. In addition, departments, sectors and localities in the province have distributed over one million legal education and dissemination documents for free, especially on the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People’s Council at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure.

In 2022, the provincial judiciary sector has focused on a number of tasks, including effective implementation of resolutions of the 13th National Party Congress; resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels in the 2020-2025 tenure, and relevant directives of the Politburo and the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee.

The judiciary sector will also step up the inspection, review and systematization of legal documents; continue to effectively implement law enforcement; strengthen the monitoring of law enforcement associated with the inspection of legal documents and control of administrative procedures and implement effectively related revised laws and national action programs.
