First genuine Volkswagen Touareg 2015 available in HCM city

Touareg 2015 receives many changes from VW in term of.. everything: interior, exterior and equipments. The car has officially reached HCM city.

The German premium SUV is an effort from VW to create a different, improved Touareg compared to previous generations. The exterior features 2-bar grille with VW symbol in the middle, Bi-Xenon headlights and LED daytime running light integrated with auto washing technology.

The strong, aggressive yet modern front bumper

VW Touareg 2015’s monocoque body is made of high-strength steel which reduce weight and increase stiffness. Its length x width x height is 4.801 x 2.208 x 1.709 mm respectively while the wheelbase reaches 2.893mm. Other equipments/features include parking assist sensor system, electronic folding mirrors, steel dual exhaust and 20 inch wheels.

The SUV’s interior brings a premium feeling thansk to leather and wood-paneled details. The leather-wrapped 3-spoke steering wheel features multifunction control buttons for driver’s convenience. All seats are leather-coated while front seats are heated and feature smart adjustment. The rear seats employ a separate air conditioning system and can be folded to increase the volume of the luggage compartment area.

The cockit is simple yet luxurious, featuring an European style

Touareg 2015 employs a 3/597cc V6 FSI engine capable of producing 280HP at 6.200rpm and 360Nm at 3.200rpm, accompanied by an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission, AWD and locked center differential. Touareg 2015 can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 5,5 seconds before reaching its max speed at 228km/h. Touareg’s fuel tank capacity is 85 liters and fuel consumption is at 9,9L/100km.

The rear seats employ a separate AC system

In addition, VW Touareg 2015 is known to be a very safe vehicle thanks to its safety features such as ABS, BA, ASR, EDTC, ESP, EBD, Cruise Control… Touareg 2015 can wade through a 500mm-high water area./.
