(VEN) - PetroVietnam Drilling & Well Services Corporation (PV Drilling) General Director Pham Tien Dung was received the Top 100 ASEAN Excellent Managers in 2016.

The Central Propaganda and Education Committee in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia Association for Economic Cooperation Development, the Association for Thai-Vietnamese Entrepreneurs and the Mekong News voted the award and organized the ceremony.

The award was evaluated based on transparent rating methodology with a range of criteria including management and administration efficiency, creative and innovative capacity in scientific and technological application, solid professional qualification, good moral and achievements.

Pham Tien Dung was also honored in the Top 50 Business Leaders-Mark of Respect in 2015 by the Nhip Cau Dau Tu (Investment Bridge) magazine after the first time in 2013.

Pham Tien Dung has been the general director of PV Drilling since 2010. He has paid attention to building the advanced administration system in addition to developing the core values of PV Drilling, which are united, professional, dynamic and innovative.

Thanks to business acumen, expertise and leadership capacity in oil and gas drilling, Pham Tien Dung has led PV Drilling to success, with dramatic growth in revenues, after-tax profits and tax payment to the state budget in the past five years.

These prestigious awards are seen as clear affirmation for management capacity and a driving force for PV Drilling General Director Pham Tien Dung to make further efforts to drive the company’s sustainable development.
