Canon unveils new printers in Vietnam

(VEN) - Canon, a world leader in digital imaging, announced the release of four new printers to PIXMA G Series range, using Canon’s refillable ink tank system, meeting printing needs of all businesses, small offices and families in Vietnam. It also added two new laser printers - LBP161dn and LBP214dw.

Four new models (PIXMA G4010, PIXMA G3010, PIXMA G2010, PIXMA G1010) are extended the same integrated-in-body ink tank design popularized by previous G series models. Thanks to significant improvements in mobile applications, wireless setup is now faster and easier, creating new experiences for user at a lower cost. Printer’s durability is also improved in order to minimize the breakdowns; especially for the businesses with high volume printing needs.

The Canon Ink Efficient G Series feed the appetites of businesses with high print volume demands, delivering up to 6,000 black-and-white document pages and 7,000 colour document pages on the bundled set of 4 ink bottles. Without the need to replace ink cartridges, businesses can reduce costs on ink supplies while spending less time on device maintenance. Especially, beautiful 4R photos (10*15 cm) can be printed in just 60 seconds, and the printers also support full borderless photo output on glossy media up to A4 sizes.

The PIXMA Ink Efficient G4010 and G3010 combine the advantages of wireless connectivity with printing from mobile devices such as phones and tablets. The Canon Print Inkjet/SELPHY app makes mobile printing, scanning easy for iOS and Android OS devices, while the Canon Print Service is compatible with Android devices. The G4010 also supports AirPrint (available on iOS, print without an app). The Canon Print Inkjet/SELPHY app allows users to access and print documents from social networks such as Facebook and Instagram, or file storage services such as Dropbox and Google Drive via the Canon PIXMA Cloud Link service.

LBP161dn and LBP214dw are upgraded from LBP151dw and LBP253x respectively. These two models have significantly improved the print speed for quickly printing, on A4, A5 and A6 size papers, with clearer texts and more vibrant photos. Its compact design is great for small office spaces and businesses. Compared to the previous versions, both LBP161dn and LBP214dw maximize their capability of duplex printing, printing over a network connection or printing from mobile devices through applications available on Android and iOS.
