Argentinean businesses interested in Vietnamese goods

A number of Argentinean companies at a business forum showed interests in importing chemicals, cement and machinery from Vietnam.

The forum was part of the 11 th Industrial Science and Technology Expo 2015 held on October 2 in Quilmes municipality in the Buenos Aires province, Argentina.

Many local businesses also met with representative of the Vietnamese Commercial Affairs mission to Argentina to get update on Vietnam’s Law on Foreign Investment, especially regulations in the fields of pharmaceuticals and electronics.

Trade turnover between Vietnam and Argentina reached 1.7 billion USD in the first eight month of this year, up 28 percent compared to the same period last year.

Of the figure, Vietnam shipped nearly 217 million USD worth of commodities to Argentina , up 74 percent, while importing goods worth 1.49 billion USD, an increase of 23 percent./.
