Anpha-AG elevates Vietnam’s services

(VEN) - With the mission of elevating Vietnam’s services by the application of new management systems and advanced technologies in freezer and refrigerated warehouse operation, the Anpha-AG Joint Stock Company has been a quality service provider and has won the trust of businesses in the Mekong Delta.

Grasping the demand for cold storage of seafood processing businesses, the Anpha-AG Co., Ltd. was established in 2007. It was changed into a joint stock company in 2009, and became a member of Japan’s Konoike Group in 2014.

After the merger and acquisition deal, the Japanese restructured the company and upgraded its equipment according to the group’s standards to meet increasing demands of customers. Specifically, the company purchased modern machinery and equipment, which were imported directly from leading countries in the world. In 2015, the company repainted air-conditioners in the warehouse to prevent corrosion.

In order to meet the most stringent requirements, all equipment, components and warehouse management systems follow HACCP standards. Thanks to a high negative temperature and stable maintenance, the warehouse meets international standards for preserving seafood, poultry, fruits, drinks, frozen and canned food.

The company’s freezer and refrigerated warehouse was Vietnam’s first to be certified under HACCP, SSOP and GMP guidelines and recognized level A on food hygiene and safety by the National Agro-Forestry-Fisheries Quality Assurance Department (NAFIQAD). With the above certification, goods are double-checked at the warehouse to receive quality and health certificates before exports.

Regarding the selection of Long An Province as an investment destination, Anpha-AG Joint Stock Company General Director Tomohiko Murakami said Long An Province has the business environment better than Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces in the region. In addition, local labor force is hard-working, so it brings great efficiency and high profits for the company. Favorable location is also an important point, as it is only 3km from the Saigon Premier Container Terminal (SPCT), 15km from the Tan Thuan Port, and 20km from Cat Lai Port. In the coming time, the company will make use of the remaining land fund to build more warehouses in order to better serve customers.

“Currently, our cold storage capacity is full. Anpha-AG hopes more firms in the cold chain industry will invest in Vietnam, especially Long An Province, so that the company can cooperate with them to open new services. In addition, the company wishes to collaborate with other Japanese firms in the provinces of Binh Duong and Dong Nai to develop the cold chain logistics sector,” Tomohiko Murakami said.
