HortEx Vietnam 2019 showcases modern garden potentials HortEx Vietnam exhibition to return in 2023

HortEx Vietnam has become the largest professional meeting place in Southeast Asia for businesses and experts in the field of horticulture and floriculture and helps Vietnamese and other businesses from Southeast Asia to get access to the most advanced technologies and equipment in the world, furthermore it also opens new export markets.

HortEx Vietnam 2023 aims to welcome about 8.000 commercial trade visitors. Returning after a 2-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Hortex Vietnam 2023 attracted strong attention from nearly 200 brands from 25 countries, including: Belgium, China, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Latvia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, the Republic of Korea, Spain, Sweden, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Vietnam.

The organizers of HortEx Vietnam are pleased to announce collective participations from the Netherlands, Turkey, Chinese Taipei and Vietnam. For HortEx Vietnam 2023 the Netherlands is “Partner Country” with a record number of 33 participants from the Netherlands.

The Netherlands and Vietnam mark an important milestone in the journey of 50-year diplomatic relations between the two countries. Recently, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and a senior Vietnamese delegation - including leaders of Vietnam's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development - paid an official visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The emphasis of this visit was to develop the business relationship between the two countries even further and to strengthen the cooperation with regards to the development of sustainable value chains in the horticulture sector and smart responses to climate changes.

In his speech, the Prime Minister of Vietnam evaluated the Netherlands as a leading country in exporting agricultural products and believed that businesses of the two countries can intensify their cooperation by exchanging knowledge and working closely on technical and sustainable solutions for today and tomorrow.

At Hortex Vietnam 2023, The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands will proudly invite all opening guests to visit the Netherlands Pavilion after the official opening ceremony on March 1st in order to conduct the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Netherlands national pavilion by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Vietnam, Mr. Kees van Baar.

In addition to displaying products and technologies at the booths, HortEx Vietnam 2023 also offers its visitors many activities at the exhibition such as: Seminar Program; Export Forum; Grower Talks; B2B matchmaking; International Flower and Vietnam Fruit showcase.
