12,565 industrials united at METALEX Vietnam 2017

The powerful combination of three shows, “METALEX Vietnam 2017”, “Electronics Assembly 2017” and “Industrial Components & Subcontracting Vietnam 2017” as well as the constellations of technology providers representing 500 brands from 25 countries, accompanied by 10 International Pavilions from 7 countries and territories China, Germany, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Chinese Taipei and Thailand was successfully to introduce advanced metalworking solutions, latest electronics assembly technologies and high quality industrial grade parts.

Mr. Suttisak Wilanan, Deputy Managing Director of the organizer Reed Tradex shared the result: “After three informative trade fair days, the Vietnam’s international metalworking trade exhibition - “METALEX Vietnam 2017” reported record new visitor number at 12,565. Meanwhile, the group visitor numbers have risen by 7%, recorded at 275 groups, underlining the trade fair’s status as one of the most important industry events for manufacturing community in Vietnam. More and more trade visitors are also coming from abroad (34 countries), apart from Vietnam, visitors predominantly came from Japan, China, Singapore, Republic of Korea and Thailand.”

Alongside technology adoption, manufacturers and industrialists across Vietnam and ASEAN can receive new inspirations from the new features, which are added, to strengthen their productivity and networks together with business delegations from diverse industry.

Mr. Taiki Hasuka, Regional Manager of AIDA (Thailand) Co., Ltd. gave his comment that: “The reason we have joined METALEX Vietnam is to reach more target customers in Vietnam and to introduce our products. This is also a good place where we can meet and discuss with many people in our industry.” With the same satisfaction, Mr. Victor Ho, Sales Manager of SMC (VN) Co. Shared by a representative from one of the international pavilions at METALEX Vietnam, Mr. Lam Joon Khoi, Secretary-General of Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) said that: “The Singapore Manufacturing Federation understands the importance of technology and regards Vietnam as a manufacturing with strong potentials. Therefore, we always encourage our local companies to explore business opportunities and collaborations in Vietnam. We have high expectations with METALEX Vietnam, therefore we brought to showcase high end technologies that will benefit Vietnamese manufacturers.”

“METALEX Vietnam provides a great opportunity for our members to demonstrate the potentials of Korean technologies with Vietnamese manufacturers. High quality machinery can allows manufacturers to customize production process and enhance productivity; we believe these advantages are crucial for the development of Vietnam’s manufacturing industry”, Mr. Ji Taik Chung, Chairman of Korea Association of Machinery Industry (KOAMI) shared.

Representative from local firm, Mr. Nguyen Vu Phuong, CEO of Viet Vu Automation Co., Ltd. shared: “We continue to join METALEX Vietnam because this is the very well-known technology exhibition. Moreover, we can find our potential customers as well as display our feature products – laser fiber to suppliers and clients. The next edition of “METALEX Vietnam 2018” will be held from 11 – 13 October 2018, at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City.
