(VEN) - A workshop titled “Increasing sales together with Amazon and Tiki” took place recently in Hanoi.
As part of a series of programs aiming to assist technology application in business operations, the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Support Center under the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment coordinated with Amazon, Tiki, VNPay and ICheck to organize this workshop.
Participants included leading experts in the field of e-commerce, such as Tran Xuan Thuy, CEO of Amazon Global Selling Vietnam; Nguyen Chi Tho, Director of Marketplace sales at Tiki Corporation; Nguyen Van Chinh, Deputy Director of the ICheck Joint Stock Company; and Nguyen Van Duy from VNPAY’s Strategic Sales Department; Le Van Quan, Director of the Hanoi Small and Medium Enterprises Development Support Center; and representatives of nearly 300 Hanoi-based companies in the fields of manufacturing, distribution, import and export.
At the workshop, Le Van Quan shared updated information about Hanoi’s policies and programs to support small and medium enterprises. Participating companies introduced the model of exporting through e-commerce platforms and Amazon.
Experts also talked about non-cash payment, ways to increase sales, and the use of barcode and QR code, giving businesses an overview of distribution and export activities in the era of e-commerce.
