A groundbreaking ceremony for the Dak Lak DHN high-tech agricultural complex was held in Ea M’droh Commune, Cu M’gar District, Dak Lak Province .
The project is a closed production chain of high quality agricultural products including: Selection and Production of Breeding Pigs – Breeding Chickens; Automatic Pig Slaughter Plant; Producing animal feed in an organic manner; Produce organic fertilizer & Trade Vietnam's leading quality livestock products and aim to export them to Southeast Asia.
The project will be jointly carried out by Hung Nhon Group from southern Binh Phuoc Province and De Heus Group from the Netherlands. The complex, with a total investment of VND1.5 trillion (US$64.6 million), is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2025. This complex has become the largest high-tech agricultural project in Dak Lak so far.
The Farm project, after being completed, will create a fast and reliable supply of high-quality pig breeds for the Central Highlands and Southeast regions, where there is a great demand for breeding pigs. In the long-term strategy, De Heus & Hung Nhon also aim to build a value chain and disease-free area in Dak Lak and surrounding areas.
The cooperation to develop the Project of High-tech Agriculture Complex in Dak Lak also creates employment opportunities for 250-300 ethnic minorities in Dak Lak province, training qualified human resources on high-value feeding, organic farming based on modern technology, contributing to the overall economic development of the province, developing a modern animal feeding model to serve as a standard model for the Central Highlands Region, Southeast Region and other regions in Vietnam.
The project will apply 100% of high technology in all processes according to international standards while the farm system is operated and monitored according to 4.0 technology, contributing to improving quality and productivity of agricultural products.
It’s the first time in Vietnam that the entire feeding process of project is applied 100% high-tech according to international standards.
