The Vietnam Apatite Limited Co (Vinaapaco) under the Vietnam Chemical Group (Vinachem) held a ceremony in Lao Cai province on September 22 to mark its 60th anniversary and receive the Labour Order of first class.

The ceremony was attended by Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Commission for Inspection, Ngo Van Du; Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai, and representatives from various ministries, sectors, and localities.
Over the past 60 years, Vinaapaco has extracted hundreds of tonnes of apatite ore contributing to fertiliser and chemical production.
The company has invested in advanced production lines and modern technology. Vinapaco currently ensures the life of 30,000 labourers and has contributed thousands of billions of VND to the State budget.
Addressing the ceremony, Deputy PM Hai praised the achievements recorded by Vinaapaco over the past. He also asked the company to focus on the development of extracting apatite ore to meet manufacturing, consumption and export needs, as well as mobilise resources for key products and exports.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Secretary of the Party Central Committee Du presented the Labour Medal, first class to the Vietnam Apatite Limited Company./.
