The Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and MVV Entrepreneur Academy (MVV Academy) today held an online opening ceremony to launch the Vietrade Edu online learning system along with the Business Planning Training Course and the ‘Female Entrepreneurs with a Successful Business Plan’ contest. These activities belong to the project of Improving competitiveness in the digital environment for female-owned businesses in Vietnam (e-SWB Vietnam), funded by the Dutch Government (Holland Embassy in Vietnam).

This corporation aims to support Vietnamese businesses and female entrepreneurs in trade promotion skills and business strategic thinking through a highly accessible and effective e-learning program. Registered businesses will receive free online courses on Business Planning, Production, Import and Export implemented on the Vietrade Edu system to build a more solid knowledge foundation for the competition.
The Vietrade Edu online learning system was built upon MVV Everlearn, an e-learning platform that fulfills the international learning standard and provides advanced features such as Full HD Video, SCORM (standard interactive lectures), Infographic, PowerPoint presentation format, PDF learning materials, Podcasts, and Microlearning. In addition, the platform promotes efficient learning accessibility by allowing learners to access the courses anywhere anytime with just a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
The “Women entrepreneurs planning for success” contest is for female entrepreneurs from cooperatives, production establishment owners, and small and medium enterprises, and will take place from September 24th to November 25th of 2021. Female entrepreneurs will have chances to receive advice from experts of various fields, learn, and network with their peers. This is an opportunity for female leaders to lean in, create breakthroughs, advance necessary skillset to create a foundation for their career paths, develop their businesses, and at the same time, bring home valuable prizes. The competition’s prize pool includes:
- 01 First prize: an award certificate with the value of VND 110 million and consolation prizes
- 01 Second prize: an award certificate with the value of VND55 million and consolation prizes
- 01 Third Prize: an award certificate with the value of VND27 million and consolation prizes
- 30 Consolation Prizes: an award certificate with service packages from Vietrade and the MVV Entrepreneur Academy that worth VND15 million.
Representatives joining the ceremony included Mr. Vu Ba Phu - Director of Vietrade; Mr. Christoph Prommersberger, Representative of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Vietnam, Mr. Hoang Minh Chien - Deputy Director of Vietrade, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son, Chairman of MVV Vietnam Entrepreneur Academy, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy, Director of Vietrade’s Information Technology Application Center.
At the opening speech, Mr. Vu Ba Phu, Director of Vietrade, shared, “The COVID-19 epidemic has been affecting all areas of business operations, forcing businesses to transform and adapt to the new normal. Online operating methods nowadays are widely applied in many sectors including training activities. With the desire to introduce online learning to Vietnamese businesses, Vietrade partnered with MVV Entrepreneur Academy Corporation to launch the Online Learning Platform Vietrade Edu which is easy use and help businesses save time and training cost. Vietrade Edu with elaborately and professionally designed lessons, teaching content designed by experienced experts who ready to advise after the course will support entrepreneurs to systematize knowledge in a systematic way, also directly support female entrepreneurs to have strong preparation for the upcoming competition and effectively apply it to business operations.”
