A consortium of scientists from the Vietnam National University (VNU) in Hanoi recently unveiled full genome maps of three members of a Vietnamese family.
ublished in the March edition of the Journal of Bioscience, the maps are part of a science project which began in 2013 by analysing the genome of a Vietnamese inpidual and expanded in 2014 to a mother, father, and their child.
The genome of a human being contains all of the genetic information that determines their biological development and characteristics. It helps scientists gain information about the development process of that inpidual and forecast their disease risk.
