Vietnam enters regional U19 Championship final

Vietnam will face Thailand in the final of the ASEAN Football Federation's U19 Championship after their 4-0 win yesterday in the semi-final against host Laos.

Vietnam took an early lead in the 2nd minute when Ho Minh Di defeated Laos’ goalkeeper Saymanolinh.
The host later had several dangerous attacks, however Vietnam’s goalkeeper Thanh Tuan had shown a brilliant performance to retain Vietnam's advantage.
In the second half, striker Duc Chinh scored a hat-trick to close the match with a 4-0 victory for Hoang Anh Tuan's squad.
Earlier on the same day, Thailand defeated Malaysia 5-0 to win the other ticket to the final match, scheduled on Friday (September 4)./.
