And optimistic forecast about Vietnam's economy is one more reason to expect more positive trends of the PC market in 2015.

And recently, LG Electronics announced its intention to shift their TV production in Thailand to Vietnam by inaugurated mega electronic manufacturing complex in the northern port city of Haiphong, helping Vietnam to become the one of the largest electronics export hubs in the world. The production expansion of LG also reflects the trend of international electronics giants to shift investment expansion plans to Vietnam. Mr. Nipon Wongsaengarunsri, Marketing Director of LG Electronics (Thailand) also said that LG considered Vietnam as the most worthwhile country for investing.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan, Vietnam’s Deputy PM has announced at the Annual World Electronic Forum (WEF) in mid-2014 that the government aims to increase the export of electronics products the year 2017. From the official figure, Vietnam had gained in revenue from the export of mobile phones, and computers and peripherals. Many global brands had established their manufacturing bases in Vietnam to increase their manufacturing output. And in recent years, international giants firm such as Samsung, Intel, Canon, Panasonic, Fujitsu, LG, Bosch and Nokia have invested billions of US dollars into the Vietnamese electronics industry. Foreign investors consider the developing the support industry as a very important factor in the sustainability of the electronic industry by sharpening the competitiveness of the sector.

Therefore, Reed Tradex is keen to provide the framework to encourage the progress of Vietnam’s supporting industries. “We proudly promote this growth through NEPCON Vietnam 2015 which is scheduled during 17-19 September in Hanoi. We would like to take this opportunity to invite technology providers, manufacturing experts, as well as everyone interested in the growing opportunity of electronics manufacturing industry in Vietnam to come show their support at NEPCON Vietnam”  Mr. Duangdej Yuaikwarmdee said.

This exhibition will be the only event in Vietnam where providers of a complete line of SMT solution, testing technologies, equipment, and supporting industries for electronics manufacturing will meet over 7,000 potential buyers in one place. The event will be one of the most effective marketing tools for SMT providers to respond to the electronic parts manufacturers’ need for technology and know-how, increase your share of the market and multiply sales leads in northern Vietnam.

Mr. Ronnie Wong, COO of Association of Electronic Industries in Singapore (AEIS) said that Vietnam’s supporting industries are steadily growing with Electrical & Electronics industry being one of the prominent industries promoted by the government. We see a huge potential in this growing market especially of the industrial estates in Hanoi where there are many factories manufacturing products for the world’s leading electronic brands. This is why AEIS will be joining NEPCON Vietnam 2015 - Vietnam’s Only Exhibition on SMT, Testing Technologies, Equipment, and Supporting Industries for Electronics Manufacturing by bringing our agents and suppliers of international machinery and solutions that could help enhance local productivity and efficiency, so that we could be a part that supports the growth of Electrical & Electronics manufacturing scene here, as well as promoting industrial cooperation between Singapore and Vietnam.
