Nearly 60 Vietnamese enterprises attended the largest international fair on gifts and home appliances in Asia (MEGA Show), which was held in Hong Kong, China from October 20-23.

With 80 booths at the 2016 MEGA Show in Hong Kong, Vietnamese participants displayed handicraft products and household appliances manufactured from natural materials such as bamboo, wood, water hyacinth, papyrus fibers and shells.
The environmentally friendly products set the Vietnamese pavilions apart, attracting a large number of visitors and exporters from around the world.
Through the fair, many Vietnamese enterprises signed numerous export contracts and orders with great value with foreign businesses.
Nguyen Duy Kien, Vietnamese Deputy Consul General in Hong Kong and Macau, China, said that the MEGA Show in Hong Kong offered a good opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to introduce their products to the international market, significantly contributing to promoting the country’s exports.
The MEGA Show is an annual large-scale trade fair attracting the participation of a large number of importers, exporters, wholesalers, distributors, agents, mail-order companies and retailers.
This year’s event featured 4,600 pavilions by 3,500 enterprises from 37 countries and territories from around the world. The fair is expected to welcome around 50,000 visitors. The 2015 MEGA Show in Hong Kong attracted more than 40,000 visitors./.
