(VEN) - The Tan Son Nhat Cargo Services and Forwarding Co., Ltd (TECS) has undergone 13 years of development, contributing significantly to the growth of Vietnam’s air transport sector. The company has become a professional air cargo services provider in Vietnam and is striving to make its brand reputable nationally.
TECS was established at the time when Vietnam became a member of the World Trade Organization (WTO). Throughout the past 13 years, the company has made nonstop efforts to become a leading service provider of air cargo handling and forwarding services in Vietnam.
TECS is known as the first Vietnamese company to be capable of meeting all demands in handling express cargo in the southern region, providing services such as cargo warehousing and express forwarding by air, receiving and delivering cargo, leasing storage facilities and offices, and maintaining aviation equipment. Currently, TECS is the service provider for eight major express forwarding firms, including DHL, Fedex, UPS, HNC and Sagawa.
In 2018, the company served the import, export cargo volume of nearly 36,000 tonnes, a rise of more than 10 percent compared with 2017. Its revenue has grown 5-10 percent annually.
Pursuing the goal of becoming a professional service provider as part of the air cargo supply chains, TECS has paid great attention to modernizing its equipment and human resource training. All staff members have undergone technical and soft skills training to meet their job requirements.
TECS has improved its management system by applying international standards such as ISO 9001:2015 and ACC3/RA3 (EU aviation security requirements). Throughout the past 13 years, the company faced no incident that might threaten flight safety and security.
