Taking Vietnamese fashion to Rome

(VEN) - As part of a Vietnam Cultural Week in Rome, an Italy-Vietnam fashion show is scheduled to take place on September 17 at Museo Di Roma in Italy under the association between the Vietnamese Embassy in Italy, the authorities of Rome, the fashion group Gattinoni and the Italian Embassy in Vietnam.

The latest fashion collections by four Vietnamese designers namely Minh Hanh, Lan Huong, Cong Khanh and Quang Nhat will be showed at the event featuring Vietnamese traditional materials such as silk, brocade and fiber.

The show will offer an opportunity for Vietnamese new fashion designers to enter one of the world’s biggest fashion centers.

On the occasion, the Vietnamese Ambassador to Italy Nguyen Hoang Long will speak about sustainable cooperation in fashion between the two countries by establishing an Italy-Vietnam Fashion Council. The council will include Italy’s Gattinoni and Vietnam’s fashion designer Minh Hanh. Italian Ambassador to Vietnam Lorenzo Angeloni said that the council would boost cooperation in fashion between businesses of the two countries./.
