Standard Chartered Vietnam launches new branch in Ho Chi Minh City

(VEN) - Standard Chartered Bank Vietnam announced the expansion of the Bank’s distribution network with the launch of its new full-service branch in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Bill Winters, Group Chief Executive of Standard Chartered PLC delivered a speech at the grand opening of Standard Chartered Vietnam’s District 7 Branch on 2 January 2018

The grand opening of District 7 Branch was celebrated in the presence of Bill Winters, Group Chief Executive of Standard Chartered PLC, on the occasion of his second official visit to Vietnam, Nirukt Sapru, the Bank’s CEO for Vietnam and ASEAN and South Asia Cluster Markets, members of Standard Chartered Vietnam’s Management.

District 7 Branch, located on the ground floor of Mapletree Business Centre building, 1060 Nguyen Van Linh Street, provides a full suite of banking products and services for retail and corporate banking clients, including Deposit, Saving and Current Accounts, Loan products, Insurance, Wealth Management, Priority Banking, Debit card and Credit card, etc.

The branch also offers a fully robotic Safe Deposit Locker facility, which is the first of its kind to be available in Vietnam at the moment. The facility is accessible 24/7 and ensures the highest standard of security, convenience and privacy; thus bringing clients peace of mind in safeguarding their valuables. It is expected to commence operations in Quarter 1, 2018 and will be available exclusively for Standard Chartered Vietnam’s Priority clients.
