Country branding itself as reliable tourism destination

(VEN) - Tourism-oriented countries all over the world are debating how best to bring back tourists as soon as the Covid-19 pandemic is controlled. Vietnam, which will be one of the first out the starting gate in tourism recovery, is focusing its strategy on emphasizing its safety as a local and international travel destination, substituting the “safe at home” mantra of the Covid-19 period with “safe in Vietnam”.

(VEN) - Vietnam has brought the Covid-19 epidemic under control and eased social distancing. However, due to the complex global development of the pandemic, the government has yet to allow the entry of foreign tourists. In the meantime, Vietnam is making efforts to maintain online contact with potential visitors and preparing programs to welcome back visitors as soon as the pandemic subsides.
