Phu Lang Pottery Village

(VEN) - Located about 60km northeast of the capital Hanoi, Phu Lang has become one of the most famous traditional pottery villages in Vietnam. The village in Phu Lang Commune of the northern province of Bac Ninh’s Que Vo District has a long recorded history. According to historical records, the village was founded by Luu Phong Tu, who was sent to China at the end of the Ly Dynasty to learn pottery making at the imperial court.
