Green technology in the tanning industry

(VEN) - Many tanning enterprises including the Saigon Tan Tec, Green Tech, and Dang Tu Ky, among others have adopted environmentally friendly and water and energy efficient technology. Using the new technology, Saigon Tan Tec reduced its energy consumption by 40 percent and decreased carbon dioxide emissions by 2,700 tonnes and water and chemical consumption by 50 and 15 percent, respectively.
