According to the organising board, more than 1,500 players joined the qualification rounds in Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Binh Duong, 183 of whom entered the final rounds.
In addition, many local celebrities will attend as invited guests in the show.
The outdoor stage will cover nearly 22,000 square meters with 18 cameras installed to record the players.
The winner of the 2016 “Sasuke Vietnam – No limit” game will receive VND800 million (nearly US$36,000) in cash.
Sasuke Vietnam’s first season quickly became a must see television programme, which prompted waves of Sasuke-styled training across the country.
The game show was first held in Japan from 1997, and to date 31 seasons have aired. It is one of the most popular TV shows in Japan.
The programme has been produced in more than 20 nations and aired in 160 countries./.
