(VEN) - Saigon Beer-Alcohol-Beverage Joint Stock Corporation’s (SABECO)deepened integration into the world economy thanks to its quality products and growing brand reputation has been made possible thanks to its investment strategy and accelerated technological innovation. SABECO currently ranks 21st among the largest brewing groups in the world and is one of the top three leading brewers in South East Asia. It occupies the leading position in Vietnam’s beer industry. SABECO also recently became the 351st member in Berlin Beer Academy - one of the cradles global beer culture.

High class products
Vietnamese consumers have long been familiar with SABECO’s products. SABECO has constantly innovated its products with the company currently producing Saigon Lager, Saigon Export, Saigon Special and 333beer.
Despite stiff competition, SABECO’s products have maintained their leading position, consolidating their foothold in Vietnam’s beer market while attempting to enter Europe and the US.
SABECO launched its Saigon Special and Saigon Lager in 2012. While the 333 Premium beer was recently ranked third by Kantar Worldpanel among Vietnam’s top five most popular beverage brands.
SABECO’s products are now available in all parts of the country due to a nationwide network of distributors. From the modest output of 21.5 million liters in 1977, the company reached 1.3 billion liters capacity in 2013. According to SABECO Deputy General Director Le Hong Xanh, SABECO’s marketing strategy focuses on core products, key markets and potential customers. There were big sales promotions launched last year including 333 - General Great Pleasure, with total prize value reaching VND63 billion.
Quality yields credibility
SABECO has always maintained quality, while applying strict regulations and technical standards, including quality management such as ISO 9001 - 2008, ISO 1400 and HACCP. The company’s product quality has also been certified by Bureau Veritas. SABECO’s products are produced from high quality raw materials on modern production lines using international-standard technology.
SABECO has continually invested in technological innovation to produce better products. The Saigon-Cu Chi Brewery is now considered the most modern in South East Asia. SABECO’s breweries all meet international green factory criteria including fuel efficiency, high performance and non-waste special filtering technology.
