Russia and Turkey is likely to sign a Free Trade Agreement by the end of next year, Turkish Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekchi said on Sunday following a meeting with a Russian representative.

Russia’s Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev said Russia and Turkey will sign a cooperative program in economics, culture, science and technology in the fourth phase next January.
Mr. Alexei Ulyukayev said Russia will remove barriers on agricultural products imported from Turkey by the end of this year.
Earlier, Russia imposed a number of sanctions on Turkey to retaliate for its downing of the Russian military jet Su-24 in Syria last November./.
