(VEN) - Pursuant to Decision 419/QD-KVN dated April 3, 2020 of the PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV Gas) on recognizing and rewarding initiatives at the PV Gas level, the trade union of the PV Gas Executive Board coordinated with the Technical Division to organize a May 25 ceremony to commend and reward outstanding individuals and collectives in the 2019 creative labor movement.

The ceremony drew the participation of PV Gas leaders, such as Hoang Van Quang, deputy general director of PV Gas, chairman of the Council of Science and Technology of PV Gas; Nguyen Van Hung, chairman of the PV Gas Trade Union; Hoang Minh, deputy chairman of the Council of Science and Technology of PV Gas; Chau Thi Khanh Doan, chairwoman of the trade union of the PV Gas Executive Board; and heads of departments and divisions.
PV Gas has always highly appreciated creative labor movements and innovation initiatives, which are viewed as a leverage to promote trade and production activities. These creative ideas have not only benefited the corporation, but also greatly contributed to increasing labor productivity, strengthening management efficiency, enhancing product quality, and improving working environment. In addition, it has also helped the corporation’s personnel and employees master technologies and improve their skills. In 2019, the corporation continued to launch the movement and received strong responses, with 40 ideas and initiatives recognized at the PV Gas level.
As a specific unit, the PV Gas Executive Board is not an ideal place to promote initiatives. However, the board has never stood apart from the creative labor movement. With outstanding ideas and initiatives, the PV Gas Executive Board has contributed significantly to fulfilling trade and production targets.
At the ceremony, PV Gas Deputy General Director Hoang Van Quang highly appreciated the efforts of the PV Gas Executive Board and gave certificates and awards to three authors/groups of authors. First is to Vo Dang Gia Phat’s initiative under the Gas Dispatching Center on providing low-pressure Cuu Long gas for consumers in the Cuu Long gas supply suspension period in 2019. Second is to the initiative on adjusting the input signal source to suppress audio interference in online meetings by Nguyen Thanh Tu and Dinh Thanh Phuong under the Administration, while the last is to the initiative on performance evaluation according to MBO-KPIs by Pham Quang Hoa, Tang Khanh Nguyen, Mai Vu Hoang, Doan Duc Minh and Dang Thu Hang under the Human Resource Division and other divisions.
Chau Thi Khanh Doan, chairwoman of the trade union of the PV Gas Executive Board, expressed her hope to receive the enthusiastic participation of all employees in emulation movements associated with trade and production activities, as well as the support of PV Gas leaders in all activities.
The ceremony contributed to encouraging employees to participate in creative labor movements and promote innovation initiatives in trade and production activities.
