PV Gas employees join in online contest on corporate culture

(VEN) - To celebrate the success of the 10th Party Congress of the PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV Gas) and the 30th anniversary of its founding, PV Gas and unions launch an online contest on corporate culture and the resolution of the 10th Party Congress of PV Gas during the 2020-2025 tenure, with the goal of strengthening communications and raising staff awareness about corporate culture.

The contest takes place from August 1 to August 31 in order to disseminate the main contents of the resolution and action program of the 10th Party Congress of PV Gas during the 2020-2025 tenure, creating motivation for all employees to complete the set targets. The contest also aims at promoting corporate culture and code of conduct, helping employees understand PV Gas’ history of formation and development, and raise their responsibilities.

To create favorable conditions for the participation of employees, the contest is held online. Each candidate takes one exam paper, answering 30 questions for 30 minutes. Exam papers include questions about PV Gas’ corporate culture and history of formation and development, as well as the main contents of the resolution and action program of the 10th Party Congress of PV Gas during the 2020-2025 tenure.

The organizer only assesses and gives grades to units with all employees participating in the contest and reaching 27 points or more. The unit with the average score getting the highest will take the first position.

Each unit chooses one best individual to participate in the on-site competition. Ranking will be dependent on their scores, with each correct answer getting one point. If they have the same points, the candidate with the fastest time to answer the questions will take the first position.

Employees had time to practice and familiarize themselves with the interface and mock tests (from July 20 to July 26). The official contest takes place from August 1 to August 31. The organizer will sum up and announce the results in September 2020.

To make the contest truly meaningful and yield practical results, the organizer has requested leaders of units to create favorable conditions for the participation of employees. Each employee should also learn and join in the contest in a serious manner.
