(VEN) - The PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV Gas) and its member units have carried out social security activities to provide support for individuals and families facing difficulties.

PV Gas Vung Tau donates three Great Solidarity houses to the poor

The PetroVietnam Gas Vung Tau Processing Company (PV Gas Vung Tau) has shown the spirit of mutual affection and love by providing support for families facing difficulties.

In mid-February 2020, PV Gas Vung Tau donated three Great Solidarity houses to three poor families living in difficult circumstances in Long Dien District’s An Ngai Commune. The three residents include Pham Van Ba (An Hoa Hamlet), Huynh Thi Hong Trang (An Loc Hamlet), and Phan Thi Minh My (An Thanh Hamlet). Each house covers an area of 60-80sq.m, costing VND80-125 million. PV Gas Vung Tau spent VND80 million for each house, while the remainder was contributed by blood relatives. At a donation ceremony, the local authorities and families expressed their gratitude to the company.

PV Gas Vung Tau built and donated more than 10 Great Solidarity houses to poor families living in difficult circumstances in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province in 2019. This is an annual activity of PV Gas Vung Tau, contributing to affirming the company’s spirit of mutual affection and love.

PV GAS SE continues to deploy the “Spring of Love” program

The Youth Union and Trade Union of the PetroVietnam Gas South East Transmission Company (PV GAS SE) has cooperated with the authorities of the three communes of Phuoc Khanh, Phuoc An and Vinh Thanh in Dong Nai Province’s Nhon Trach District, the Liaison Committee of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Association of Resistance Prisoners, and the Hiep Phuoc Industrial Zone to continue to deploy a series of activities in the “Spring of Love” program. The program is implemented annually with the desire to share difficulties with the disadvantaged people, social policy beneficiary families and poor workers living along the gas pipeline managed by the company.

The company has presented 80 gifts with total value of VND40 million to 80 beneficiaries, expressing the spirit of mutual affection and love and contributing to community building.

Through the program, the company wishes to promote close cooperation with the local authorities and people in ensuring the security and safety of the gas pipeline system.
