Program promotes Vietnam’s image in Czech Republic

Vietnam Tourism Day in the Czech Republic, with the aim of introducing Vietnam’s tourism potential to the Czech Republic’s authorities, people and travel companies, was recently organized in Prague.

The event are co-organized by the Vietnamese Embassy and the Ministry of Regional Development of the Czech Republic.

As part of the program, a photo exhibition entitled ‘Vietnam - Unending Beauty’ was also unveiled on the same day. Over 100 photo at the exhibition feature the beauty of the landscapes, islands and people of Vietnam. In addition, the visitors also have the chance to enjoy Vietnamese folk songs.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Ambassador Ho Minh Tuan said that Vietnam and the Czech Republic have the basic elements to promote more exchanges and cooperation in the tourism sector.

He expressed his hope that through the exhibition, the Czech Republic’s people would understand more about Vietnam – a country with majestic natural beauty, a culture of more than 4,000 years and the beauty found in daily life.

The event is also a good opportunity for tourism companies of both two counties to promote cooperation and meet the demands of visitors on both sides, he added.

Additionally, a workshop themed ‘Vietnam - An undiscovered land’ was also organized.
