Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, accompanied by a high-level Vietnamese delegation, visited the Embassy of Vietnam in China on April 25 on the occasion of his attendance at the second Belt and Road Forum in Beijing.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc met his Cambodian counterpart Samdech Techo Hun Sen in Beijing, China, on April 26, on the sidelines of the ongoing second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, which opened the same day.
At the meeting, Phuc sent greetings to Hun Sen and Cambodian people on the occasion of Cambodia’s traditional New Year Chol Chnam Thmay festival.
Expressing their delight at strong growth of the Vietnam – Cambodia ties, both PMs agreed to continue effectively implementing the two countries’ high-level agreement of 2019, increase the number of visits and high-level meetings, and sustain regular cooperation mechanisms between the sides.
They also discussed various key issues of bilateral relations at the current time.
Phuc suggested the Cambodian Government and PM Hun Sen himself prioritise creating favourable conditions for Vietnamese Cambodians in the country to live and work in accordance with local law.
