(VEN) - Eric Hallin has been appointed the new General Manager of Norfolk Hotel and Norfolk Mansions in Ho Chi Minh City.

As the newly appointed General Manager of the Norfolk Hotel and Norfolk Mansion, Eric Hallin will make a valuable addition both to the two properties, and to the city’s hospitality industry. He brings with him over 40 years of international experience in managing four- and five-star hotels.

Growing up in Africa and Europe, he attended the Universities of Malawi and Stockholm before joining the travel industry. Fluent in several languages, his career has spanned several countries, including France, Greece, Maldives, Spain and Thailand. His management expertise has contributed to the success of many properties, including the Six Senses Hideaway in Koh Samui, which voted “Best Hotel in the World” by Condé Nast Traveller readers in 2008.

Eric also attaches importance to community issues and local business development. To do this he has held many leading positions in PATA, chambers of commerce, tourism committees, Skal and other associations.

Established in 1991, Norfolk Group was one of the first foreign companies pioneering international-standard real

estate developments in Vietnam. The Group has major projects in Ho Chi Minh City’s Central Business District

including the Norfolk Hotel, Norfolk Mansion, and the PDD Building. Its latest projects include the high living
