(VEN) - “NEV” NEPCON Vietnam 2017 has continually improved standard and quality of Vietnam’s industries by upgrading electronics manufacturing with a variety of technologies and machinery from 200 brands from 20 countries and 6 international pavilions, in order to satisfy 7,653 Vietnamese and international investors from many sectors.
The grand co-location of “NEV” NEPCON Vietnam 2017, Industrial Components & Subcontracting Vietnam 2017 and the 7th Vietnam-Japan Supporting Industries Exhibition had the mutual mission to offer the comprehensive business platform to ride this momentum in promoting industrial growth through the organization of technology platform with business matching opportunities and knowledge-enriching conference. The significantly increased number of visitors at 7,653 and 255 group visits came from 25 countries. The successful business match making program matched 440 Key Buyers, presenting the interest in electronics manufacturing industry.
As every year, “Hand Soldering Competition by IPC” continually recognized the best skills in hand soldering complex printed board assemblies ensured by zero-defect soldering processes.
“We are very positive about the growth of Vietnam’s market in the electronics manufacturing industry. By joining NEPCON Vietnam 2017, we are committed to meeting the needs and expectations of our clients and to build a long-term relationship with them to strive for sustainable profitability together,” Shan Lian Lee, CEO of the Shenmao Technology Inc., one of the exhibitor, shared his positive opinion on Vietnam’s future. Besides of the demonstration of technologies, machinery and solutions for supporting and electronics manufacturing industries in Vietnam, the organizer prepared the rich content and education program to sharpen the competiveness and strengthen the business network with foreign partners.
This year, the Japan External Trade Organization (Hanoi Representative Office) organized quality seminars with five interesting topics - JETRO Activities for Development of Supporting Industry in Vietnam, Developing Situation of Vietnamese Suppliers from Result of Supplier Research in 2017, Key Point of Success in Business with Japanese Companies, Project Introduction – JICA Survey for SME Promotion and Industrial Development in Vietnam, and The Importance of Financial Statements in Corporate Management and Production Management System.
Hironobu Kitagawa, Chief of Representative of the Japan External Trade Organization (Hanoi Representative Office), said, “It is our hope that through bringing Japanese and Vietnamese companies to discuss business face-to-face, we will be able to promote further development of a market economy in Vietnam and strengthen the relationship between the two countries.” He also added, “JETRO Hanoi has collaborated with VIETRADE to organize The 7th Vietnam-Japan Supporting Industries Exhibition as a platform for Japanese and Vietnamese companies in the supporting industries to network and meet with potential business partners who can compliment’s their business operations.”
During the three days of the event, the show offered an ideal atmosphere for effective business matching, knowledge transfer, idea discussion and brand promotion for electronics and supporting industries among participants from ASEAN and partner countries on a large scale. Vo Thi Thanh Van, Director of the Xuyen Co Co., Ltd., said, “NEPCON Vietnam is a well-established event whose organizer’s professionalism yielded positive results every year, so we believe our participation will be a great opportunity to promote our brand as well as our products such as PCB and raw materials for producing PCB, PCBA and raw materials for producing PCBA to the target clients.”

“NEV” NEPCON Vietnam 2017 successfully ended beyond the expectations of delivering effective business activities including formed partnerships, negotiations and numerous contracts. Next year, this exclusive exhibition will take the return from October 11-13, 2018, again at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City.
