Improved product quality

The NTEA Thai Nguyen Joint Stock Company in Thai Nguyen Province, specializing in the production and processing of tea products, is one of the companies benefitting from the program. It was established in 2017, but due to limited capital resources, the company mainly uses outdated machines and equipment. With VND300 million from the national industry promotion fund in 2020, the company’s production activities have achieved positive results, enhancing the value of its products.

According to company director Le Quang Quyet, with the practical support of industry promotion activities, the company not only has improved its proactivity in production, meeting a large number of orders with high value, but also has created products with optimal quality, improving its reputation and brand name. The company also offers more job opportunities for local workers with monthly average incomes of about VND6-7 million.

Many localities combine industry promotion activities with other programs and projects

Industry promotion funds have yielded practical efficiency for many enterprises and rural industry establishments across the country by helping them not only advertise, introduce their products, promote product consumption, but also determine the right and effective investment direction, improve management capacity, expand production and business, increase competitiveness in domestic and foreign markets.

Industry promotion activities are specifically focused on helping rural industrial establishments improve productivity and quality, increasing the competitiveness of industrial and handicraft products. They also promote support for rural industrial establishments in applying scientific and technical advances, green technologies, and information technology in management, communication and transactions.

Industry promotion activities also focus on developing the production of large-scale commodity concentration along the value chain, linking raw material production with processing and consumption to meet market demand and helping rural industrial establishments increase their competitiveness in domestic and foreign markets.

Many localities combine the National Industry Promotion Program with other programs and projects such

as the National Target Program on Building New-style Rural Areas, the One Commune One Product

(OCOP) program, diversifying funding sources and gradually improving the production value of

enterprises.
