Excluding the number of visitors from China (up 44%) and the Republic of Korea (up 31%), the average growth rate of the rest markets was only 12.83%, much lower than the growth pace of the West European market.
Earlier, the Government on July 1, 2015 decided to grant visa exemption for West European tourists who came from the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
The visa waiver and tourism stimulus programs expects to lure 1.1 million arrivals from those markets in the next few years, up 50% from 2015./.
