(VEN) - To further strengthen and enhance the manufacturing industry, especially metal working, metrology and automation, Reed Tradex will organize Metalex Vietnam 2018 from October 11-13 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC). This 12th edition will not only be set up as a technology-intensive playground with many on-site activities likes Shows in Show or Hand Soldering Championship but also coordinate with organizations and experts in the industry to implement the transmission of knowledge resources and technology transfer.
Returning as an annual playground for the manufacturing industry, this year Metalex Vietnam 2018 will bring to Vietnam the experience of technology marvels and new metalworking revolution of over 500 brands from 25 countries such as Hoffmann, Hexagon, Takamaz, Showa Denki, Saeilo, etc. The exhibition will be a worthwhile experience packed with five international pavilions from China, Germany, Japan, Singapore and Chinese Taipei. There will be the full spectrum of machine tools and solutions ranging from machining centers, EDM machine, sheet metalworking, welding technology, metrology and many more.
The industrial linkage will be stronger with four co-located shows such as NEPCON Vietnam 2018, Industrial Components & Subcontracting Vietnam 2018, Supporting Industry Show 2018 and ROBOT X HCMC. The synergy of these shows will gather a large number of buyers in the manufacturing and supporting industries.
NEPCON Vietnam 2018 in Ho Chi Minh City will deliver a platform for electronics manufactures to source the right technologies and engage in face-to-face business discussion on a large scale. There will be four international pavilions from China, the Republic of Korea, Singapore and Chinese Taipei, bringing leaders such as Cognex, Lintec, Techno Vietnam Industries, and Sato Vietnam Solution to the show.
Industrial Components & Subcontracting Vietnam 2018, the easiest and most effective way to meet buyers of parts and components, in which overseas and Vietnamese parts makers and buyers will come together for partnership opportunities.
The Supporting Industry Show 2018 organized by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) will offer opportunities for Japanese and Vietnamese companies across the supporting industry to secure partnerships and subcontracts to shape their business strategies. JETRO Ho Chi Minh City, in coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh City Center of Supporting Industries Development (CSID), the Ho Chi Minh City Office, and the Investment and Trade Promotion Center of Ho Chi Minh City (ITPC HCMC) will connect manufacturers that want to subcontract with 18 Japanese major companies or seek partnerships with 30 Vietnamese suppliers displaying their locally produced industrial parts.
ROBOT X HCMC will magnetize industrialists in one of the most exciting industrial landscapes in Vietnam with unseen capabilities of industrial robots and solutions from international providers.
Suttisak Wilanan, Deputy Managing Director of Reed Tradex, said, “Recognizing the opportunities and development paths from existing challenges, in 2018, we will focus on developing the exhibition program to be more competitive, not only demonstrate the machineries, but also coordinate with organizations and experts in the industry.” Concurrent with the exhibition will be a series of forums and activities which connect businesses in order for them to seek possibilities to share knowledge and technology.
In addition to Metalex Vietnam 2018, a special training course will be open for engineers to broaden their knowledge and skills necessary to operate smart technologies integrated with Internet of Things, Big Data, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence and advanced robotics that will transform Vietnam’s entire industrial ecosystem.
The Engineer Master Class with an honor speaker from the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Mechanical Engineering (HAME), is ready to help engineers create value and opportunities for a smart future.
Along with the return of the Shows in Show technology tour at the exhibition, this program will allow local industrialists to discover the latest cutting-edge machinery and metalworking solutions that can take their production efficiency to the next level.
