“Metalex Vietnam 2017” coming soon

(VEN) - “Metalex Vietnam 2017” will return to Ho Chi Minh City from 12 – 14 October, at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) along with specific plans to accelerate production after more than 10 years of companion with the country.

This year, to further strengthening and enhancing the manufacturing industry, the organizer Reed Tradex also keeps running the support activities such as: "Business Matchmaking", "Agent Wanted" and "Sourcing Service" to provide networking opportunity for local businesses to interact in a global market place. And, more distinctive, to promote industrial robotic applications in Vietnam, Universal Robots and Reed Tradex will co-organized a showcase all about the robotic arm’s flexibility and adaptability, addressing the challenges of improving productivity, throughout the activity “Cooking Omelet with Robot Chef” to demonstrate its potentials to SMEs in various sectors seeking to improve their production process.

Besides, at Metalex Vietnam 2017, the "Engineer Master Class" program will continue to deliver the technical experiences to Vietnam's industrialists. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Ngoc Tuan - Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Association of Mechanical Engineering (HAME) shared: “This program has the mission to move the manufacturing and supporting industries in the forward direction, to be ready to overcome any challenges and uncertainties that the Industry 4.0 era may bring.”

In addition, another exciting arena "KOMA TAISEN" will also return to Metalex Vietnam this year. This is the convergence of high precision spin tops (Koma) which are produced by SME manufacturers and a representation of a new generation of producers who are focused on capturing trends and enhancing production. “We held the KOMA TAISEN for the purpose to encourage all of manufacturers to show their ability in producing the high precision products to the world”, said Hirate Yosuke, President of Orient Machine Ltd., Co.
