Mercedes-Benz Vietnam unveils business direction in 2018

(VEN) - Mercedes-Benz Vietnam (MBV) achieved the best-ever Q.1 in 23 years operating in Vietnam with the total sales of more than 1,400 units. This is a positive signal for the 2-digit growth expectation of the brand in 2018. Besides focusing in customer experience like 2017, MBV will further deliver more values to its customers through the whole journey, from before till after buying decision. More practical values will be created for customers in 2018 by MBV, throughout their purchase process, from choosing a vehicle to aftersales services.

Closing 2017, Mercedes-Benz Vietnam (MBV) reached the sales volume of more than 6,000 units, marking a 40% growth compared to 2016 and set a new record in Vietnam premium car market. In 2018, MBV will do it best to deliver more values to customers focusing in practical value, as well as refreshing the product portfolio and caring for young customers, female customers.

Every Mercedes-Benz car can be warranted up to 5 years. From January 1st 2018, MBV will apply a three year warranty policy for all the new Mercedes-Benz models regardless of CBU and CKD, at any authorized dealers across the country. Particularly, a 3- year warranty within no mileage restriction will be provided for all passenger cars. For to the V-Class and Vito, either a 3-year warranty or 200,000 km warranty will be applied, depending on which condition comes first. A 2-year extended warranty package is also available for customers to choose, increasing the total warranty time up to 5 years. Mercedes-Benz is the only premium brand in Vietnam can offer this package to customers.

With 14 existing authorized Sales and Service Centers across the country, MBV owns not only the largest premium dealer network in terms of quantity but also modern and friendly with customers. New outlets are coming at strategic cities including Vinh, Binh Duong and Can Tho. Mercedes-Benz authorized dealer network has brought about pragmatic benefits such as mobility support, luxury lounges, bars with free coffee/drinks/snacks, hi-speed Wifi, massage chairs,…

In 2018, 2 more Mercedes-Benz Certified Sales Centers will come in to operation, increasing the total number up to 10 Centers. This is a helpful channel for customers to approach a Mercedes-Benz with reasonable cost with the peace in mind. To enhance the business strategy of Customer centricity, the After-Sales department will now be renamed Customer Services in all Mercedes-Benz subsidiaries across the globe.

In 2018, Customer Services department has designed a variety of campaigns & programs to satisfy different customer’s needs like “Golden Weeks” for young and enthusiastic customers, “Red carpet” for E- & S-class, “Elder cars” program to care for the vehicles have been running more than 5 years. Especially the program called “My Choice. My Service” have been operating in most of our dealers offering privileged services like Express Service, Mobility, Value and VIP lounge.

Also, MBV will further expand and improve certified Body & Paint centers to reduce average waiting time; organize Service Camp program to do quick service in more than 30 provinces following a motto “If the customers won’t come to us, we will come to them”; and having Service 24h always ready to serve customer 24/7.

This year, MBV will introduce “She’s Mercedes” campaign, where female customers can share and connect their driving skills and lifestyle. Female customers will also receive many special offers during the experience of products and services of MBV.
