Experience to ask for funding
Cuu Long Delta Rice Research Institute Director Tran Ngoc Thach said that more than 220 officials and employees made greater efforts to achieve success for the project. With advantages in terms of rice varieties, the institute decided to choose this project. “There are four issues that individuals and cooperative groups need to pay special attention, including clearly understanding funding packages, identifying strengths and requirements from the donor, building appropriate proposal, and well preparing documents,” Tran Ngoc Thach said.
According to FIRST Project Management Unit Director Tran Quoc Thang, it is calling for businesses to participate in registration for receiving funding. To increase the possibility of success, businesses need to show their determination and feasible ideas for their development strategies. Each funding package requires carefull study on its regulations and instructions for the purpose of effective financing. The most feasible profiles will be thoroughly assessed by the technical evaluation committee (TEC) including three international experts and three domestic specialists in order to submit to the Ministry of Science and Technology and the World Bank for approval.
