Launching the 7th edition of campaign Taiwan Excellence in Vietnam

(VEN) - July 14th, 2016 Taiwan Excellence – the international campaign organized by the Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) Ministry of Economic Affair, Taiwan and implemented by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) with the aim of introducing and promoting Taiwanese leading products in developing markets – officially announced its 7th launch in Vietnam.

Following its 6 successful years in Vietnam, Taiwan Excellence 2016 promises to bring various products honored in Taiwan Excellence Award from 43 brands spanning across different fields, ranging from ICT, home appliances, health care & fitness, and transportation to Vietnamese consumers.

In this seventh year launching in Vietnam, Taiwan Excellence 2016 brings a wide range of products from 43 brands in various sectors, proudly representing Taiwanese innovation and creativity.

Information and communications technology – a globally well-known strength of Taiwan – will continuously prove their advance via the attendance of famous brands providing a wide range of products, especially those who have great impact internationally such as Acer, Asus, and HTC with their high-quality laptops and mobile phones. Speaking about the constantly changing demands of consumers nowaday, Asus shared that they are pushing and in search of the incredible digital technology solutions. D-Link and BenQ are also getting technology-lovers’ attention due to their advanced multimedia/network devices, display and imaging solutions. Other prestigious institutions in technology continue to engage in the campaign this year include DrayTek, Optoma, Plustek, Thermaltake, LEPA, Silicon Power, etc.

Additionally, Taiwan Excellence also introduces its most modern healthcare instruments, such as Microlife Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor equipped with the latest technology to monitor artial fibrillation and prevent breakdown, Miacare Ace Patch that is perfect for all types of skins and in every moment. One of the highlights in this year campaign is Johnson with the modern Johnson 8.1T Treadmill and its ability to connect to TV. Mentioning about Vietnamese market, Johnson said that there is a noticeably increasing demand in healthcare product since people are concerning more about their health more than ever; thus, this would be a great chance for Johnson to build their brand awareness here.

Meanwhile, Taiwan Excellence also proactively emphasizes the rapid growth of Taiwanese unique and reliable home appliances. Many brands like Caesar, FECA and LCW join Taiwan Excellence 2016 with their perse range of home-living products.

Taiwan Excellence 2016 witnesses the 2nd year in a row of singer – actress Minh Hang being the campaign’s celebrity endorser. With her lively image, Minh Hang has successfully brought Taiwanese top brands closer to Vietnamese consumers. She shares that: “I feel very hornored to be reselected as celebrity endorser of Taiwan Excellence 2016 in Vietnam. Last year, I have had the chances to experience the ‘Excellence Lifestyles’ with many high-tech products from Taiwan. I was very impressed with the unlimited creativity and unexpectedly smart features of their products”.

Right after the ‘Taiwan Excellence Launching Press Conference’, a series of events named Taiwan Excellence Experiencing Zone will be held respectively in order to offer consumers the opportunity to experience Taiwanese products hands on. The first implement of this experiencing event series will occur at AEON Mall (27 Co Linh Street, Hanoi) from June 15th to 17th, and will visit Ho Chi Minh City via a similar session held at Crescent Mall (101 Ton Dat Tien Street, Tan Phu District) from September 30th to October 2nd.
