(VEN) - Lang Toi, also known as My Village, the spectacle created by a group of 4 creators: Tuan Le, Nguyen Lan Maurice, Nhat Ly, Tan Loc under Lune Production’s investment, will perform live at the 105 year-old Hanoi Opera House from July 16th, 2016 onwards.

Lang Toi is a delicate merge of tradition and innovation, where poetic beauty of Vietnamese village life is presented under new cirque approach using iconic bamboo; breathtaking cirque and twenty different exotic folk instruments performing live. In 2005, the group of 4 creators created Lang Toi in Hanoi. From 2009 to 2012, the show toured the world with over 300 shows in France, Holland, Spain, Belgium, Greece, Hungaria, Germany, and Hong Kong.
The French Daily Newspaper - Le Monde, 11/07/2011 commented on the show: “The beautiful idea is using the bamboo trunk, an ancient material, as the key to the whole show. With just a few pieces of strips or bike tires, the artists of the Nouveau Cirque du Vietnam are composing and recomposing infinitely movable and superb architectures.”

These spectacles have inspired and received much love and critical acclaim from both local and international audiences while performing at Saigon Opera House, as well as during their world tours.
